Dear Friends and Colleagues:


It is our great honor and pleasure to invite you to attend the 5th International Conference on Machine Vision and Information Technology (CMVIT 2021), which is in conjunction with the 5th International Conference on Graphics, Images and Interactive Techniques (CGIIT 2021), organized by Federation University Australia, and technically sponsored by Shanghai Jiaotong University and Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. The conference will be held at Auckland, New Zealand from Feb 25 to 28, 2021.


The CMVIT has been held for four years since 2017 after four successful conferences in Singapore, Hong Kong, Guangzhou, and Sanya, attracting a large number of researchers, scholars and students from all over the world. The CMVIT 2021 Conference will provide a unique and excellent forum to exchange research methodologies, explore practical applications, and foster innovative ideas, in machine vision and information technology. The conference will strive to offer plenty of networking opportunities to meet and interact with the world-leading scientists, engineers and researchers as well as industrial sponsors and exhibitors. We hope you will join us for the great gathering of outstanding science, engineering, and technology, and look forwards to seeing you in the beautiful city Auckland!

Anouncement of Virtual Conference

Considering the current situation of COVID-19 abroad, the CMVIT 2021 which was planned to be held in Auckland, New Zealand, will be changed into virtual conference on Feb.26, 2021 (Friday). The decision to hold the virtual conference was made in compliance with many restrictions and regulations that were imposed by countries around the globe. Such restrictions were made to minimize the risk of people contracting or spreading the COVID-19 through physical contact.

1. We state that the change of conference form will not influence all registered papers' publication and indexing.

2. For virtual conference, we will only adopt 2 types of presentation: one is oral presentation, and another is poster presentation. Our conference secretary will contact you about your preference of presentation type. All registered authors need to send back your participant response.

3. Since the change is caused out of force majeure, we are very sorry for any inconvenience caused by such situation.

P.s. This is a tentative program for reference only, program is subject to final confirmation. Final Program will be available on early Febuary 2021.


All the registered and presented papers will be published in the volume of Journal of Physics: Conference Series (JPCS) (ISSN: 1742-6596), which will be submitted to Engineering Village, Scopus, Thomson Reuters (WoS) and other databases for review and indexing. *All registered and presented papers will be online publishing.

Selected papers with great extension will be recommended to publish in Special issue of Journal.

Peer Review Instructions

All the papers will be peer reviewed by 2-3 experts. It takes 20-30 days for the result coming out. If the paper needs revising, it should be resubmitted for peer review again.
1. Manuscripts must be written in English;
2. The manuscript should be written in accordance with the standard of template;
3. The topics of paper should be relevant to conference topics;
4. Plagiarism and Duplicate submission are prohibited;
5. Innovation and scientific value is a must.
